| The Simiens trace their ancestry in Louisiana, as Free People of Color, to the late 1700's. Eva Simien and William (Willie) Boudreaux had three sons and one daughter. Lester was the youngest of the family. Willie and Eva resided in Opelousas, LA. Two of their sons served in the military service during World War II. |
