| William and Mary Bernadette, met and were married in Point Coupee Parish, Louisiana. There were seven children in the family. The family moved to Alexandria, Louisiana during the forties to improve their life. There, after retirement as a carpenter, William built and operated a prosperous grocery store. Eula, the middle daughter, attended Saint James High School. |
