| Lester Boudreaux was born in Opelousas, LA. His father was William Boudreaux and his mother was Eva Simien. Lester had one sister and two brothers. Frank Boudreaux was born to Lester and Ida Tyler on September 28, 1940. He was an only child. Lester served his country well in WW II and was decorated with the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. There are many stories about Lester's bravado and heroism in the book Blood for Dignity by David Colley. |
